How We Make Our Tees

Our garments are designed for comfort and performance while you're moving. We combine cutting edge fabrics with uncompromised form and function to produce kit that you can rely on, no matter the distance you run.

We want to make the best running clothing we can, as sustainably as we can. To do this we needed to shake up the way that athletic clothing is made.

We only make our products in small batches. This allows us to adjust our production, so we make more of the designs you love, and not wasting those you don’t.

We work with a number of trusted partners that produce our running clothing. They are the best people we know who can create the highest quality products, while sharing our values.

Our Fabric

100% RECYCLED

NO COMPROMISE ON PERFORMANCE

Plastic waste is a real problem.

We take plastic bottles that would otherwise be heading to landfill or our oceans. They're regenerated into the cutting edge fabric we use to craft our distinct tech tees.

Our fabric is made by one of the finest Italian sports fabric producers. They create award-winning fabrics with some of the most environmentally friendly processes. All our fabric is Global Recycled Standard certified and bluesign® approved.

We treat our fabric with Swiss silver ion anti-odour treatment which means less washing, cooler washes and longer-lasting garments.

No fabric is perfect...

...but high-quality recycled polyester stacks up pretty well1.

Our carefully developed fabric delivers uncompromised technical performance but with a much smaller environmental footprint.

Why we use recycled polyester

Less Carbon

Reduces emissions by 32%2

Less Water

30% less water used3

Less Energy

59% less energy to make rPET2

No Crude Oil

Made from waste plastic, not crude oil (as with regular polyester).

Less Waste

Plastics do not end up polluting oceans or in landfill

Performance

Our fabric performs at least as well as other high-end fabrics

Our Manufacturing

DESIGNED IN ENGLAND

MADE IN PORTUGAL

WORN WHEREVER YOU RUN

Our tees are designed and tested (over many, many miles) here in UK, and made by our fully audited manufacturer in Portugal.

Why Portugal?

The standards of craftmanship are renowned.

It's close to the UK and the rest of our supply chain, minimising the miles our clothing has to travel before it gets to you.

It helps us to ensure the people that make our clothing work in safe, fair conditions

We can manufacture in smaller batches, minimising waste. So we can make more of the clothing you like and less of those you don't.

We don't believe that sustainable should mean sacrificing performance. Our tees are designed with details to ensure performance.

Swiss made silver ion treatment means less stink, less washing and lower washing temperatures.

We don't dye our fabric using water. Instead, we use waterless technology with non-toxic dyes. This creates bold designs that won't fade, or affect the feel and performance of the fabric.

We don't like chafing. So we don't use labels in our garments. We also use flat-seams both for comfort and strength. Our kit is made to last.

RUN MORE.

WASTE LESS.

Our Supply Chain

From the waste plastic collection to your final tee, we keep the miles covered by our clothing as short as we can to minimise our CO2 emissions. Of course you can add as many miles as you want on foot 🙂

The plastic is regenerated into high-quality yarn in Spain. It is then made into performance fabric in Italy and crafted into our run clothing in Portugal.

We utilise our partners' logistic networks, minimising unnecessary travel to move our materials.
